Appearance: Black, flat vanilla pods with a thick, oily skin and an average length of 18-20 cm.

Vanille has various medicinal properties and is considered and afrodisiacum and is used in food preparation like apple pie, brownies, chocolate drinks and bars and various desserts. Certain people also use it to make sauces and savory dishes.
